Check on the Availability calendar to see if your chosen dates are available. If not available (Red) you can look on the calendar to find availability in Green. Click on the BOOK DIRECT button below the calendar or at the top of the page and you will be taken to our booking page. Just input your dates in the drop down calendar and you will be shown a price for the cottages that are available. If that is acceptable you can proceed with the booking and be asked for your 10% deposit by secure card payment with Stripe. You will be sent an automated invoice and reminders to pay the balance 8 weeks before your stay by email from Cheverton Farm Holidays. If you have a discount code don’t forget to input it on the first booking page in the ‘Promo Code’ box!

We offer a full refund in the event of a national or local lockdown which means you cannot travel. Your 10% deposit on booking is otherwise non-refundable and under normal circumstances you are liable for a 50% charge if cancellation takes place less than 30 days before your stay and 100% if you cancel less than 14 days before your stay or fail to arrive. We will always try to rebook your stay and refund your balance where possible minus the deposit if booked for the same period at the same price on another occasion. 

Booking Terms & Conditions

We allow two well-behaved dogs at Brummell Barn and no dogs at Rowborough Cottage. There is a £3 per dog per day charge payable at booking or on arrival. We do not allow guests bring to other pets such as cats in case they were to escape.

Day visitors may come to the properties (no more than 6) and if using the pool there is a £5 per day charge. No more than 12 people plus 2 infants must stay at Brummell Barn overnight or 6 people and 1 infant at Rowborough Cottage. All overnight visitors (if numbers permit) must register with the host and all visitors must abide by our terms and conditions for conduct.

This is 3 nights which we understand is difficult for some people who want a weekend away, but we feel that if guests cannot stay for the Sunday night they can still stay all the day and enjoy the facilities, instead of having to leave before 10am in the morning. We may allow 2 night bookings in special cases but the cost per night would be more than the cost of a 3 night stay. 

We have a 3pm arrival time and a 10am checkout time (unless special arrangements have been made for early check-in/ late checkout). Please do not arrive before this time as the property may not be ready for you. We ask that you leave by the specified time so that we can clean and prepare the cottages for the next guests who may be arriving that day. This is standard for self-catering properties so please do not ask for early/late check-ins unless we have offered (or you are happy to pay) for an extra day. 

You are shown how to book the pool when you arrive on a whiteboard outside. You are asked not to book more than 90 minute sessions once or twice a day as the pool is shared with one other cottage. Please refer to our Pool Terms and Conditions for other information. You cannot pre-book the pool before your holiday.

We have a variety of animals in the farmyard including some pigs, miniature donkey, usually some sheep, cattle and chickens but the majority of our livestock are outside on our 730 acre farm so may not be visible from the farmyard. Most can be petted but it is a working farm.

You can order any beef, lamb or pork products from our own Cheverton Farm butchery online before you come on holiday on the website www.isleofwightmeat.co.uk. This includes sausages and bacon as well as a wide range of delicious BBQ products, dry-aged steak, joints and chops. They can be delivered or you can collect from the shop next to the butchery and is open every morning from 9 am except Sundays.
