Isle of Wight Mountain Bike Centre at Cheverton Farm

There is a permanent cross-country track that offers an exciting ride with tricky downhill and technical routes to challenge all abilities.

It also offers access to longer rides via the Worsley trail that runs through the farm adjacent to the cycle track and on towards the downs and forestry. The downhills are not suited for the novice rider and should be ridden with caution. Safety equipment including full-face helmets, leg and elbow padding is strongly advised and bikes should be suitable for downhill riding and in good condition.

If you’d like to ride the course you will need to buy a permit.
Click here to purchase a pass or pay by contactless card or cash at the centre. No unaccompanied Under-16’s.

A visitor’s day permit is £5 and the centre is open on Wednesday evening and from 10-4 at weekends during the season.

Holiday guests staying in our properties must pay the cost of the permit as the cycling business is run by a different company.

The centre is closed from the end of October 2020 until the end of February 2021 but is dependent on Covid restrictions.
