We are pleased to have received a certificate from Visit England to certify that we are good to go with regards to the Covid-19 Industry Standard, following an online assessment with Visit England for re-opening our business.

It gives recognition that this business has confirmed to have followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, and it ensures that processes are in place to maintain cleanliness in the properties and communal areas and aid social/physical distancing.

This is part of the ‘We’re Good to Go’ Industry Standard from Visit Britain.

‘We have worked hard to provide our guests with the reassurance that our cottages have been cleaned to the highest standards using anti-viral products that have been recommended to the industry, with cleaners who wear appropriate PPE and are given extra time to complete the process. We are also changing all linen including pillow and mattress protectors, duvets, blankets, and cushions between guests. The whole property is sanitised using a chemical fogging machine after the previous guests have left. Hand gel and antibacterial soap is provided in the cottages and swimming pool. A dishwasher is provided for washing up more hygienically. All swimming sessions are privately booked with additional cleaning and hygiene precautions in place. We are asking guests to arrive one hour later at 4pm to allow for additional cleaning time. Unfortunately we have had to close the games room and the snooker room is only open to guests in Brummell Barn with the gym available by appointment for either cottage. The playground and pool are still available for all cottages to use. We thank guests for their understanding that we need to try and keep everyone safe at this difficult time. ‘Claudia Hodgson.
